This is a role wellsuited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career.As a Manufacturing Biochemist 2, you will be responsible for :
In your activities you will schedule and manage the materialrequired to execute Standards, Calibrators, Control and Reagent buildsfrom small to large-scale automated equipment in Walpole Formulation
You will execute as well as provide training andguidance on SAP transactions/reports, calibrations, preventativemaintenance, provide direction and in-process verification on themanufacturing floor and CIP.
You will take part in product release responsibilities;including CIP equipment release, review of bill of materials and routings,and validation support
You will assist in meeting product demand requirements;manufacturing materials and equipment, and driving improvement inmanufacturing and manufacturing support processes
This position includes the handling of all types of materials, including hazardous and DEA (Drug Enforcement Agency) controlled materials.

You have a robust manufacturing process background, asolid understanding of the use and calibration of laboratory equipmentduring formulation and can demonstrate a strong understanding of GMP in acontrolled environment. Experience with SAP and automatedsystems is a plus.
You have exceptional attention to detail and canprovide verification and approval for calibration and equipment cleaningrecords. The expectation would be to provide leadership anddirection within the group to further develop the quality culture withthis knowledge.
You have an ability to effectively manage multipleoperations in parallel within defined timeranges. Occasional overtime and/or off-shift work may berequired.
Required skills to havefor the success of this role
Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Life Science,Chemistry, or related field of study, or equivalent work experience of>10 years in a related industry or field.
Minimum of 5-8 years of manufacturing experience;including experience in a controlled environment
Strong mathematical and computer application skills
Must pass a Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) backgroundcheck.
