Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Branch/Retail Banking Clerk in Walpole, Massachusetts. This role primarily involves processing customer credit applications, maintaining customer credit records, and resolving customer credit inquiries in the banking industry. The successful candidate will also monitor customer credit accounts and take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments.

Responsibilities:

• Process customer credit applications, ensuring accuracy and efficiency

• Maintain precise records of customer credit information

• Resolve customer credit inquiries in a timely and effective manner

• Monitor customer credit accounts and take action when necessary to collect delinquent payments

• Handle cash activities and check processing with strict adherence to compliance standards

• Utilize Microsoft Excel and other banking operation systems to accurately process transactions and maintain records

• Foster positive interactions with customers and team members, assisting in solving problems when needed

• Navigate multiple computer systems and programs to ensure efficient banking operations

• Display a high level of accuracy and detail-orientation in all tasks

• Adapt to a flexible schedule, demonstrating patience and a positive attitude. Requirements • Experience in a branch or retail banking environment for at least one year

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Familiarity with banking operations

• Experience with cash handling activities

• Ability to handle check processing tasks

• Knowledge of commercial banking procedures

• Understanding of compliance regulations related to banking sector

• Excellent customer service skills

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team

• Good communication skills, both verbal and written

• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

• Basic mathematical skills for cash handling and banking calculations

• Ability to adapt to new software and banking technologies

• Availability to work in shifts if required.
