We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Manager, located in Waltham, Massachusetts. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in centralizing the accounts payable process, managing vendor information, and overseeing a small team.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the organization and processing of large volumes of invoices with precision.

• Develop and implement efficiencies to enhance the current accounts payable process.

• Maintain and manage vendor relationships and vendor information.

• Utilize various accounting software systems for data processing and account coding.

• Ensure accurate account coding and use of Concur and ADP - Financial Services.

• Handle invoice processing, reconciliation, and management of outstanding invoices.

• Oversee a team of two, fostering a productive and efficient working environment.

• Perform various accounting functions including accrual accounting and auditing.

• Manage Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions.

• Utilize your skills in general management to streamline and improve processes.

Requirements • Proficiency in Account Coding and Accrual Accounting

• Demonstrated experience with Accounting Software Systems

• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services

• Proficient in using Concur

• Strong skills in Data Processing and Accounting Functions

• Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP)

• Knowledge of Auditing and Automated Clearing House (ACH) processes

• Ability to manage vendor relationships effectively

• Experience in handling Invoice, Invoice Processing, and Invoice reconciliation

• Ability to manage Outstanding Invoices

• General management skills are essential

• Experience in the Financial Services industry

• Ability to lead and manage a team.
