POSITION: Associate Marketing Manager

Under the oversight of the Marketing Manager, the Associate Marketing Manager will focus their support on consumer banking marketing initiatives through branch distribution and other out of home campaigns. They will be responsible for engaging and collaborating with senior leadership to develop marketing plans that focus on growth to attract, acquire, deepen and retain customers using tactics that incorporate the bank’s Lifecycle marketing framework, leverage efficient, scalable and effective use of marketing channels aligned with strategic imperatives.

With an emphasis on data-driven insights, this person sets campaign goals and monitors, optimizes, and reports on campaign KPIs, leveraging market research and trends to refine strategic outcomes. Upholding CSB’s values, they will cultivate a solution-focused approach, fostering internal and external partnerships, champion empathy, active-listening, and understanding in all communications.

Key Result Areas:

  • Drive marketing strategies & campaign execution from ideation, development, implementation, and post-launch to increase digital activation, utilization and engagement, attract new customer audiences, enhance deepening opportunities, and ensure retention of existing customers through use of Sales Force Marketing Cloud solution & Customer Relationship Management tools/reporting.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally and cross-departmentally, partnering with individuals such as Research & Segmentation Management, Digital Marketing Management, Consumer Product Management, and Retail Deposit Product & Administration Management to identify research opportunities and analysis of consumer research, to develop personalized and segmented campaigns and strategies.

  • Drive consumer website content for accuracy, optimize for SEO, performance tracking, ensure adherence to the brand guidelines and aligns with bank strategy.

  • Collaborate on diverse projects within the marketing department and across other departments, ensuring consistent brand messaging and strategy alignment.

  • Support the bank’s execution efforts to develop, optimize, and measure performance to enhance user experience, conversions from awareness to acquisition, and management of consumer content.

    Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or five years of progressive marketing experience.

  • Experience with financial services, digital banking tools, customer life cycle management, and segmentation helpful.

  • Must have hands-on-experience, analyzing, capturing and reporting on campaign performance and activities; ability to illustrate and derive insights and marketing plan outcomes.

  • Understanding of media channels, media planning, and creative development process.

  • Excellent program and project management skills

  • Understanding of Banking or Regulated industries, a plus

  • Working knowledge of email management systems (SendGrid, Constant Contact), Salesforce, Customer Management systems, Performance tracking & reporting platforms (Tableau, Marketing Cloud)

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word – Power Point – Outlook, and Excel.

  • Strong interpersonal skills as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills to compose written correspondence, campaign copy, etc.

  • Exceptional organizational, initiative prioritization & time allocation management, and problem-solving skills.
