Our expert Value and Access Consulting practice, comprising industry leaders, former payers, policy experts, and experienced strategists, help clients steer a path through diverse evidence requirements and potential payer barriers to achieve optimal price and access. Dedicated Value and Access Consulting teams in London and Waltham, MA, have been providing global payer research and pricing, Health Technology Assessment (HTA), reimbursement and market access strategy advice to clients in the biopharmaceutical industry for two decades. Our work is underpinned by relationships with high level payers and advisers covering 45 markets, and integration with world-class experts across clinical development, regulatory, HTA, market access, HEOR and RWE practices.
We have an opportunity for a Consultant to join our Value and Access Consulting practice to play an active role in project management and content delivery for market access projects. The role includes the opportunity to shape and address the latest trends in market access as part of the broader integrated Value and Development Consulting practice. In this role you will work closely with senior team members and content delivery team members to:
Act as Project Manager, supported by the Project Lead providing management to projects teams of Associate Consultants, Senior Business Analysts, Business Analysts and project co-ordinators. The Consultant has strong project management skills and is responsible for driving successful delivery and project performance across service categories for small to medium size project engagements:
For early pipeline assets: Global pricing and market access strategy, value and evidence strategy and plans, integrated scientific advice for evidence generation optimisation, in-licensing decision support and early pricing/global pricing strategy
For launch and in-line assets: Value story development and testing, payer advisory boards and engagement plans, payer negotiation and workshops and development of strategy and implementation for country specific pricing and reimbursement
Contributes to weekly practice huddle meetings, practice team meetings, shares project management best practice and presents insights from client engagements to colleagues
Develops consulting skills and technical knowledge with a focus on continuous improvement by participation and contribution to relevant practice training, keeping up-to-date with latest industry trends, sharing project learnings with colleagues and providing input to thought leadership activities
Develop proposals that understand the client need through a robust situational analysis with support from senior consultants and contributes to a solution that will provide insight and high client satisfaction for the proposed project engagement
Who you are
Strong experience in pricing, HTA, reimbursement and global market access either in a consultancy or industry (corporate level) and highly engaged in expanding your knowledge
Personable, committed, flexible team-worker
Strategic thinker with ability to understand client challenges
Well-developed problem-solving skills and sound judgement
Ability to work effectively with people at all levels in the practice and collaboratively in a cross functional environment
Experience in developing solutions for clients with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively both in writing and verbally
