Commonwealth Financial Network Financial Analyst in Waltham, Massachusetts

As a financial analyst, you’ll put your investigative and problem-solving skills to use by conducting a wide variety of analyses. If you have a passion for numbers, let’s introduce ourselves.

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing forecasts and annual plans

  • Analyzing financial data, preparing variance analysis reports, and providing recommendations to senior management to drive growth and profitability

  • Conducting analyses on existing revenue streams and strategies for growth, expenses and cost to serve, advisor productivity, asset flows and trends, industry trends, and competitor performance

  • Building and maintaining financial and operational models to support strategic investment

  • Making recommendations for finance process improvements and ensuring data integrity

Core Strengths and Skills

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • 1–3 years’ experience in financial planning and analysis

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or mathematics preferred

  • Advanced Excel skills
