FMLA Elementary K-5th Grade School Speech-Language Pathologist

AnthroMed is seeking a speech-language pathologist for a K-5th grade elementary school in Waltham, MA. This is a full-time in-person position covering a maternity leave starting in April and continuing for the remainder of the 2022-2023 school year. There is also an extended school year opportunity if interested!
The speech language pathologist will be covering a FMLA, so the speech schedule is already complete and will just need to be followed.
Location: Waltham, MA
Days: Monday-Friday
Hours: 8:30 AM - 3:10 PM
Grades: K-5th grade
Focus of this SLP is on small group instruction and supporting the learning of students on pathway programs.
Responsibilities:
Conduct student assessments and develop treatment plans (IEP/504) if needed
Provide direct and indirect speech therapy services across environments
Complete required documentation and maintain accurate records for data collection
Work collaboratively with all team members to ensure student progress
Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
Attend staff meetings and serve on appropriate committees
Serve as a speech and language liaison for school staff members
Other duties to be assigned
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Active Massachusetts Speech-Language Pathology License
Active Professional Educator License (DESE)
