Job Description

The Material Handler II will have an emphasis on the receiving, picking and putting away of all inventory. The Material Handler II will apply acquired job skills and company procedures to complete assigned tasks.

Job Duties

  • Performs the physical or administrative tasks involved in the receiving storing and distributing of materials parts supplies and equipment.

  • Unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders invoices and work orders.

  • Maintains records of received goods and rejects unsatisfactory items.

  • Lifts up to 50lbs. and may operate a forklift.

  • Examines stocks and distributes materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines.

  • Prepares kitting packages for assembly production.

  • Cycle count inventory to ensure accuracy.

  • Uses root cause analysis to resolve discrepancies.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Mimium High School Diploma required.

  • Minimum of 1-3 years working in a stockroom or shipping/receiving environment.

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

  • Must be able to climb up and down a ladder.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Functional knowledge of MRP systems.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.

  • Computer Skills: All Microsoft Applications.
