Buyers Edge Platform Member Financial Analyst in Waltham, Massachusetts

Buyers Edge Platform (?BEP?) was born out of the 20-year growth and success of its founding companies Dining Alliance, Buyers Edge and Consolidated Concepts. This position can be based out of one of our offices or based remotely.

We are currently seeking a Member Financial Analyst who will be responsible for overseeing the information services that goes into getting our customers paid. The ideal candidate will have experience working with large data sets, including high-impact financial data. This role will work closely with our technical teams including database managers, and Salesforce.com developers as well as finance/accounting, sales and service staff.

A high aptitude for problem solving is necessary for success in this role. There will be monthly and quarterly deadlines with significant impact on the organization. The scope of this role is expected to grow as we continue to add partners and expand. There is potential for this role to interact with executives and other key business leaders. As such, a high level of competence is essential.

Primary Responsibilities and Activities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Auditing and validating payment files used to cut checks for members

  • Maintenance of Salesforce.com CRM records pertaining payments

  • Gathering feedback and requirements from brand stakeholders, translating business needs into technical action

  • Collaborating with Business and Data Information services to ensure continuous process improvement

  • Preparing reports and dashboards for internal customers, and high-level executives

SCOPE: ( # direct reports; revenue managed; level of impact on org., etc.)

  • No direct reports (at this time), though a significant amount of collaboration with stakeholders around the organization is needed.

  • 30,000 Locations? earnings totaling over $10M is accounted for in our CRM; quarterly and/or monthly deliverables with hard deadlines. (These numbers are expected to grow as new brands are integrated and organizational strategy leads to growth.)

Education and Experience Required:

  • B.S./ B.A. degree from 4-year college preferred.

  • Accounting, Business, Economics or Information Services preferred but not required.

  • 5 years related experience preferred

  • Experience working with high-impact financial information

  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills

  • Experience working with Salesforce.com with the ability to collaborate with technical resources to move projects forward
