Brandeis University Research Assistant in Waltham, Massachusetts

The Heller School at Brandeis University seeks to hire a Research Assistant who will contribute substantively to one major community based multi-state project at the Institute of Behavior Health (IBH). This person will work closely with the principal investigator, Traci Green, and will be an integral member of a large team. Key Responsibilities: Conduct some project coordination activities including tracking deadlines, sending reminders, and ensuring that the project activities and tasks are done in a timely manner. Schedule meetings, take minutes, and conduct follow-up as appropriate. Prepare or assist with presentations for conferences, local government, and community partner meetings; prepare or assist with preparation of manuscripts and other project materials. Coordinating a project advisory group; engaging appropriate stakeholders and resources. Assist with creation of strong internal and external communication, coordinating completion of and assisting with copy preparation for project communications including graphical layout preparation. Provide general research support and project tasks as required or assigned. Travel to meetings, trainings, quality control checks and additional site visits as needed. Skills & Qualifications: Post-degree research, community engagement, and/or project coordination experience. Master's candidates encouraged. Excellent communications, interpersonal, organizational and writing skills necessary. Skilled use of standard computer programs, familiarity with or willing to learn graphic design software and other tools.
