Why You Matter

Reporting to the Director of Business Intelligence and Planning, this role will be a critical business partner for sales and service management for our international markets. This role will leverage business/sales analytics to provide critical insights into trends and performance, proactively making recommendations and proposals to improve business/sales performance and optimize resources. As an expert in measuring KPIs, developing balance scorecards and data visualization oriented charts to enable transparency and insights to achieving business/sales goals, this role is critical to our success at Carbon Black.

What You’ll Do

  • Business/Sales analytics partner - Quantitatively work with sales leadership and management to develop reporting, analytics and models that track all aspects of sales and customer retention across international markets.

  • Generate insights - Identify, analyze, and interpret trends and patterns of large data sets vs business goals to generate meaningful operational and commercial insights. Partner closely with sales and service leadership to develop actionable and measurable programs that accelerate revenue, increase sales productivity/attainment and increase customer retention. Perform deep analysis on the leading, in-process, and lagging indicators correlating to the overall sales and customer health.

  • Evolve analytics capability – partner with IT and leverage best practices and expertise in data visualization to develop our Qlik, Gainsight, Salesforce and other business intelligence platforms to meet our evolving business needs and analytics goals.

  • Drive action - Build a strong internal network of experts and resources that can help drive effective change. Package and position recommendations to executive and sales management through a balance of quantitative and qualitative analysis.

What You’ll Bring

  • 5+ years of proven experience in analytics roles in Management Consultancy, Finance, Sales Operations or Customer Operations.

  • An expert in defining business KPIs, Balanced Scorecards, business modelling, visualization of data to leverage broad data sets to generate critical business insights aligned to achieving commercial goals.

  • Strong background in business analytics leveraging platforms such as Qlick, Salesforce and Excel, expert in report writing, excel modelling and data visualization.

  • Expert in solving complex problems through data and analytics, but providing insights that are logical, data driven, simple to understand and aligned to business goals.

  • Excellent team and operational leadership skills, with excellent interpersonal, collaboration and partnering skills.

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance or analytics related subjects.

  • Experience working with international sales teams and markets a plus
