We have an immediate opening for a Sr. Marketing Manager in our Corporate Accounts biotech marketing function. Passionate about the growing market segment of new and emerging biotech, the team’s purpose is to drive awareness of total company capabilities for these important innovators and to use our collective company strengths to develop compelling customer value propositions which support the drug and therapy development continuum.
How you will make an impact:
The Sr. Marketing Manager is an important contributor in performing Thermo Fisher’s strategy for the biotech market. This multifaceted, creative and expert marketing professional will be accountable for synthesizing market and customer insights to identify trends, for integrating relevant market dynamics and for crafting customer value propositions, tied to cross-company capabilities, which address customer challenges. Close collaboration with commercial and marketing colleagues, as well as experts will be critical, for supporting and performing a marketing strategy specifically targeted at biotech customers. Responsible for development and implementation of marketing assets to guide the biotech customer journey. This colleague will operate in a diverse and matrixed environment, and work to gain alignment with marketing colleagues in relevant businesses to harmonize messaging and approach.

What will you do:
Collaborate with our biotech team and subject matter experts across our matrixed organization to ensure that our marketing approach and customer value proposition (CVP) development roadmap reflect and support our go to market strategy.
Build messaging and customer-facing collateral to address biotech customers’ needs:
Synthesize VOC from multiple sources to understand customer challenges and barriers to deep engagement with Thermo Fisher.
Based on the marketing roadmap, leverage internal marketing and specialist network to support creation of differentiated level 3 CVPs
Work closely with Global Brand and Digital Customer Marketing teams to identify alliances, leverage capabilities and assure alignment
Provide market intelligence and insights to support commercial team
Plan and deliver commercial training for collateral deployment
Use marketing experience, industry/technical knowledge and customer-centricity to build compelling value propositions and support digital marketing strategy as well as division, group, regional and corporate-led campaigns.
Responsible for measuring the impact of marketing activities.
How will you get here:
BA/BS required, preferably with major/minor in sciences or business
MBA or graduate degree preferred
5+ years experience in marketing, including customer value proposition work, commercial training and execution of go-to-market objectives
Multi-tasking experience, flexibility, and understanding of business impact to address immediate priorities and still handle deadlines with longer-term projects and pivotal initiatives
Familiarity with the biotech industry preferred
Consulting experience a plus
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Position may require Covid-19 vaccination, including a booster and/or routine testing, per client discretion. As a requirement to be onsite at Thermo Fisher Scientific this position requires vaccination status disclosure upon employment.

Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud application a plus
