Wolters Kluwer’s Governance, Risk & Compliance division is looking for a Senior Sales Support Specialist to join our Finance Risk & Reporting team in the United States.

Finance, Risk, & Reporting (FRR) offers financial risk, regulatory reporting and finance solutions to the financial services market. This business area brings its solutions to market as Wolters Kluwer Financial Services (http://www.wolterskluwerfs.com/Home.aspx) (WKFS).
Provides customers and sales reps with expert, detailed product advice and demonstrations throughout the sales process. Leads teams of internal and external stakeholders to solve complex sales support problems. Works closely with senior leadership to develop and enhance product and go to market strategies and to improve both the products as well as the process by which we prepare to demonstrate these products. Leads the preparation and performance of detailed product demonstrations and product prototypes for clients and prospects. Operates under minimal supervision, with wide latitude for independent action including the ability to proactively structure, manage and execute complex technical projects, working closely with product management, development and professional services team members.
The Finance, Risk and Compliance Sales Support Manager aims to address the key challenges encountered during the sales process as relates to the functional and technical details of our complex software solutions. This includes identifying client's needs, completing RFP/RFI's, presentations, product demonstrations, proof of concepts, tracking and keeping up to date with industry changes.
Lead the ongoing evolution of our product positioning in the marketplace
Manage the development of the product demonstrations, working closely with product management and development
Manage internal and external teams to successfully prepare, execute and conduct product workshops and proof of concept studies
Conducting functional gap analyses and addressing business issues raised by prospects, and
work together with sales to ensure the closure of the process.
Working with product development/product management to ensure the functional requirements of customers/prospects are fulfilled and if all features are on the roadmap foreseen.
Articulate our value proposition throughout all steps in the sales process.
Build and maintain use cases and demonstration setups of specific software modules.
Manage the process to successfully complete RFI/RFP's.
Listen to and understand our prospects business requirements.
Helping to qualify opportunities
Develop processes, systems and tools for the generation and management of pre-sales support documents.
Qualifications and Skillset
Degree in Risk/Finance/Accounting/Banking/IT/Computer Science
10+ years relevant experience as a Pre-Sales Consultant, Implementation Consultant or similar role
Broad understanding of banking, financial services, and insurance business
CFA, GARP, and/or PRMIA certifications (preferred)
Leadership experience working in cross-functional teams to develop and implement complex enterprise software solutions
Excellent communication and time management skills
Proven experience in Finance, Risk and Reporting, with an emphasis on Risk and Finance solutions(IFRS, CECL, Basel, Liquidity, GL, Budgeting and financial consolidation) as well as a good understanding of regulatory reporting requirements in the US and Canadian markets
In depth knowledge of banking products, instruments, systems and processes
Experience with financial software, financial data warehousing and relational database conceptual knowledge
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
Required Language Skills (written and spoken): English (fluent); Optional: Dutch, French, German
Excellent presentation skills
