Eliot Community Human Services Social Services Clinical Director in Waltham, Massachusetts
Eliot's Short Term Assessment and Rapid Reintegration (STARR) program, supporting children referred by the Department of Children and Families, is seeking a licensed Clinician with three years of experience working with younger and school-age children in a residential setting.
Our ideal candidate will have the ability to establish a positive rapport with a culturally and economically diverse group of families, conduct assessments, provide case management and treatment collaboration, facilitate individual and group therapy, and guide therapeutic milieu interventions, as well as serve as a member of program leadership.
Eliot’s Social Services Division includes short-term community-based assessment programs and group homes for children (birth to 12 years old) and adolescents (13 to 21 years old). The programs are contracted with the Department of Children and Families and provide a safe, structured, and respectful environment for children and youth to thrive, change and grow by focusing on treatment, skill-building, and permanency.
Conduct comprehensive assessments and treatment plans that respond to the needs and diversity of the youth and family. Prepare clinical formulations in order to guide goal development and make treatment recommendations.
Commit to the principles of Wraparound and practice within a Family Driven and Youth Guided framework that embraces Family Voice and Choice.
Become trained in Trauma-Informed Care, and ARC (Attachment, Self Regulation, and Competency) and use these models within all aspects of the work.
Lead in the development of a strengths-based treatment plan and safety plan.
Collaborate with the family to provide in-home treatment and implementation of effective systems including daily routines, behavior management, and safety plans.
Schedule: Monday to Friday 10 am-6 pm
Salary range: 47.5k- 50k(Independently licensed)
