Duties: Software development for the part of the emulator compiler that analyzes the customer design in order to map it on the emulator resources. Contribute to the design and implementation of new functionality for this part of the compiler as well as support current functionality. Work on high-level algorithm design, as well as on the ones and zeroes of the programmable emulator hardware. The work is primarily in C++ on Linux. Design and write unit tests and regression tests as part of the software development process. Analyze and debug reported defects in the compilation software. Interact with other software teams as well as the emulator hardware teams in an international, multi-site, development environment

Requirements : Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering or a related field and 12 months of experience in the job offered or in Software Engineer-related occupation. Position also requires coursework, co-op, internship, or professional experience in the following: software development; algorithm and data structure design; C++ and Python; EDA hardware description languages (Verilog or VHDL); gate level digital logic design; hardware debug; EDA software simulation; Linux operating systems; and, source code version control.
