Our client, a leader in the medical device industry, is seeking a Software Test Engineer II to join their team. As a Software Test Engineer II, you will be part of the Quality Engineering department supporting a dynamic team dedicated to ensuring the highest standards of product quality. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a detail-oriented mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Software Test Engineer II

Location: Waltham, MA

Pay Range: $ 41 - 44.87 /hr

What's the Job?

• Design, develop and execute test cases to ensure the quality of the product by proving system functionality and verifying business and user requirements in the Electrophysiology domain.

• Conduct manual execution of tests or execute automated test scripts as required.

• Document test results and write formal test reports to be included in regulatory submissions.

• Diagnose problems and report bugs and enhancements in a bug tracking system.

• Participate in daily scrum meetings and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including software development and hardware engineering.

What's Needed?

• BS in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or equivalent.

• 1-2+ years of experience as a software test engineer or in a related field.

• Prior experience in the Electrophysiology clinical environment is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with Python is a plus.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills along with analytical and problem-solving abilities.
