MarketOne International Strategic Account Director in Waltham, Massachusetts

Our Strategic Account Director role is the most senior, client-facing role on the client account team responsible for establishing and strengthening the relationship and business we have with our largest, global clients. This role defines and executes the account strategy with the help of their Delivery colleagues. The success of the Strategic Account Director is measured by client value, satisfaction, renewal, and growth.

The Role

  • Serve as client relationship owner, building strong, lasting relationships at the senior level and addressing escalations for up to 3 strategic clients

  • Understand client business needs and delivery teams to develop solutions that convey MarketOne’s value proposition

  • Create revenue growth for the agency by driving client success and satisfaction and leading strategic pitches (roadmaps, transformational projects, new service lines, etc.) for assigned clients

  • Work collaboratively with the PMO to progress work and expedite revenue recognition for profitability

  • Evaluate and drive delivery performance assurance and scale for continuous increase in client value

  • Conduct regular business reviews with clients that illustrate MarketOne value and make recommendations for improvement and growth

  • Establish contractual documentation (MSAs, NDAs, etc.) on assigned accounts

  • Negotiate and managing new statements of work and renewals

  • Develop and maintain account plans for each assigned account that incorporates plans for retention and growth

  • Determine when sales, demand center, and/or marketing resource(s) is needed to help drive the account plans and then direct those resources

  • Keep agency CRM (NetSuite) up to date, managing opportunities, contacts, and event logs

  • At times work and attend meetings across NA and EMEA time zones

Background

  • A minimum of 10 years working experience, of which at least 3 would be in a strategic digital role in a Marketing organization

  • Solid B2B digital marketing experience, preferably with clients in the high-tech sector

  • Served in a senior Marketing role responsible for digital strategy (ex. CX, martech stack) and performance management (ex. ROMI, KPI frameworks)

  • Experience in driving change management at scale

  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
