Danaher Corporation Supply Chain and Order Management Technical Lead in Waltham, Massachusetts

The Supply Chain and Order Management Technical Lead is responsible for supporting enhancement, validation, and maintenance of various supply chain and order management applications including Oracle Fusion ERP Suite’s Supply Planning, Global Trade Management, and Global Order Promising and (home grown) Order Management applications. The candidate will champion the use of product discovery as part of the process to introduce new software features/functionalities to satisfy business needs.

This position reports to the Director of Digital Supply Chain & Manufacturing Products, is part of the Abcam Digital Enterprise Team located in Waltham, MA, USA, and will be on-site. At Abcam, our vision is to be the most influential life sciences company for researchers worldwide.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Collaborate with business colleagues to understand future software functionality requirements, raise change requests with Abcam’s managed services providers and raise ideas with Oracle to help drive new software features and functionalities

  • Work with team members from the business, digital, and vendors to understand and document functional and data requirements that are needed to create functional and technical specifications

  • Cross-train and collaborate with other digital product managers/analysts who are responsible for other modules within the Oracle Fusion stack, Kinaxis Demand Planning, and Manhattan Associates Warehouse Management System Software Manhattan Scale.

  • Interact with other teams, internal and external, to ensure application, data interface, and/or infrastructure issues are resolved in a timely manner

  • Perform hands-on functionality testing in a non-Prod application environment and develop and own test scripts and participate in unit and cross-functional testing activities to support testing functionality enhancements/defects and the quarterly Oracle patch upgrade

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • B.S. or advance degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field

  • 10 to 15+ years of IT/Digital Supply chain experience; must be a member of an organization’s IT/Digital organization or a professional services/product development team of a Supply Chain Software company

  • 10+ years of strong hands-on experience in implementing, architecting, designing, configuring, integrating, and supporting industry leading supply chain and order management software, e.g. Oracle Fusion, Kinaxis, Oracle (on-prem), SAP S/4HANA, etc. is mandatory

  • Hands on experience in converting business requirements into functional specification and design documents

  • Solid understanding of the Supply Chain planning processes from order-to-cash

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Previous experience in the Supply Chain and Order Management processes for life science, biotech, or pharmaceutical industry is desired, but not mandatory

  • Oracle Fusion Cloud application and extension development experience using Redwood, Visual Builder Cloud Service (Oracle VBCS), and Web Services will be a big plus. #L1-WT1
