Atlantic Battery Is seeking an Entry-Level Sales and Customer Service Associate. Founded in 1934, Atlantic Battery Company in Watertown has been providing New England with the best battery service in the region for decades. In this role you will have the opportunity to learn many facets of a thriving business. Primary job duties: Customer service and office management - Greet customers at Warehouse desk - Fulfill orders - Manage billing by creating invoices for customers - Read and respond to emails, phone calls, and answer questions from customers and vendors in a timely manner Sales, Marketing and Social Media - - Increase sales by conducting online internet research, including finding additional bidding opportunities - - Cold calling customer via phone, and in person - - Gain additional experience working on federal and government bids - - Share ideas and manage marketing campaigns - - Maintain google adwords campaign - - Post and manage ads on craigslist, ebay, and additional websites Preferred Requirements: - Efficiency and organization: Be able to create and provide a daily log list of duties and accomplished tasks the end of the day - Self-sufficient: - Be able to multitask with little supervision, self-motivated, energetic, and a self-starter - Customer skills: Have a professional demeanor and take responsibility to respond to customer orders and inquiries - Lift batteries up to 50 lbs if needed - Computer skills: Be able to sit and work on a laptop for an extended amount of time. Working knowledge of computer and office software - Office skills: Be able to perform general office duties such as; filling typing, drafting letters, scanning, and faxing documents Additional information - Position can be full or parttime based on your experience and skills - Hourly rate \$18-\$20 with the possibility of commission or profit sharing
