We’re launching a brand-new urgent care center in a modern, fully equipped space, and you’ll play a key role in shaping a welcoming, patient-centered experience. As a Patient Care Coordinator, you’ll support both clinical and administrative functions – from greeting patients and scheduling appointments to assisting providers and ensuring smooth daily operations. Working closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers, you’ll help deliver compassionate, high-quality care in an efficient, collaborative environment.

Job Description:

What You’ll Do

Patient Experience & Support

• Welcome and guide patients through check-in, registration, and insurance verification.

• Coordinate scheduling for appointments, follow-ups, and diagnostic or lab tests.

• Ensure patients feel informed, supported, and cared for throughout their visit.

Clinical & Administrative Support

• Take vital signs, prepare patients for exams, and assist providers during visits.

• Process visit documentation, enter patient information accurately, and support billing workflows.

• Maintain patient confidentiality and ensure compliance with HIPAA and organizational standards.

What You’ll Bring

Required:

• High School diploma or GED.

• Comfort using computers and web-based applications.

• One of the following:

  • Medical Assistant (MA), EMT, CNA, or LNA certification/diploma OR

  • At least 5 months of direct patient care experience (e.g., Medical Assistant, Patient Care Technician, Clinical Nursing Assistant) OR

  • Completion of one clinical rotation as a nursing or medical student.

Preferred:

• Phlebotomy certification.

What to Expect
