In this role you will be responsible for complete enrollment, re-enrollment and perpetual enrollment support to field personnel for all employer-sponsored benefits. Activities include, but are not limited to, coordination with home office and field employees, and sometimes external customers, to confirm sold plan designs and customer expectations for enrollment and administration and provide appropriate enrollment and/or re-enrollment communications. Responsible for pre and post-production activities for these materials including determination of timing, hardware resources, coordination with print area, and timely shipping of any materials to requested destinations
Fulfill requests for electronic enrollment/marketing tools
Consult with field personnel on available options to best meet customer’s needs within allowable time
Create representation of all employer-sponsored benefits in electronic enrollment focusing non-AEB benefits: medical plans, HSAs, FSAs, 401(k), etc.
Provide remote telephonic support for field personnel conducting enrollments
Create customized benefit statement templates and merge data accurately
Fulfill requests for enrollment materials
Create highlighters for all requested group products
Create pre-communication materials for enrollments, including email blasts
Collaborate with field personnel to deliver materials timely and accurately
Project testing for continual enhancement of technology and field fulfillment
Create immediate customer-facing solutions to business needs
Contribute to developing support structure for benefit administration platform
Support formal IT projects as needed
High school graduate with some computer/software course work or equivalent experience preferred
Excel and Word skills for manipulation and combination of complex data sources and the ability to create merged documents including layout design
Excellent oral and written communication skills, along with the ability to provide superior customer service to our field partners
2+ years of group insurance experience
Knowledge of the Sun Life product portfolio, underwriting guidelines, ratings and internal systems to quote, submit issue and service the Sun Life product portfolio
