• testing: reconciling data and tables / testing the UI from an end user prospective / user acceptance testing

EDI: Claims are sent to state agencies Medicaid/Medicare etc. the state lets them know if claims have been accepted or rejected. They have SLAs to resolve rejections. This tool is to track responses errors who will address them etc.

Under limited supervision the Business Systems Analyst supports IT goals and objectives by working closely with Project Managers IT Managers and business stakeholders to ensure application development and implementation meets the business requirements. Work with internal and external off-site Project Managers Technical Designers and Developers and other key stakeholders to identify and document requirements and use cases in a manner that is accurate and meaningful to business and IT professionals. This position also demonstrates leadership in the team environment.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Must have prior Business Systems Analyst experience and a proven understanding of the use case documentation process.

Work with Project Managers and other key stakeholders IT Managers IT Designers and Developers and Subject Matter Experts SME's to develop and document requirements and use cases in a manner that is clear accurate meaningful and understood by all.

Facilitate IT and business use case walk-thru sessions.

Mentor less experienced Business Systems Analysts review use case documentation and provide constructive feedback.

Must maintain a thorough understanding of DQ's business practices and the applications/systems that support them.

Work with IT and business users to evaluate options and recommend solutions in line with IT and/or business architecture.

Develop reusable templates and maintain Business Systems Analyst methodology.

Prepare documentation using tools such as Visio Word and Excel.

Identify and implement process improvements.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience

• Documentation skills, technical writing skills

• Able to document designs, processes, and workflows

• Reconciling data and tables, ensuring it looks good in the UI/end user view (UAT testing)

• BRDs and SOBs

• App will be built as a component of proprietary home grown system, integrates with SQL and SSIS

• EDI experience would be a plus

• Experience working with dev teams

• Sole BSA on the team

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $45.00/hr.
