CVS Media Exchange is hiring a Lead Director of Performance and Optimization . This role will report to the Executive Director, Head of Operations.
CVS Media Exchange [CMX] is dedicated to driving measurable outcomes for our suppliers, merchants, stores, GMs, brand advertisers, and agencies. Our full-funnel ad solutions leverage CVS’s in-store and online data, extensive reach, and to provide measurable results for our clientele. With a range of flexible pricing and buying models, including self-service; these solutions help businesses build brand awareness, engage with CVS consumers, and convert CVS consumers to shoppers.
The Lead Director, Performance and Optimization is a critical role responsible for providing strategic and operational direction to drive campaign performance for CMX brands and suppliers . The ideal candidate will be able to balance needing to get into the weeds to solve day-to-day problems as well as be able to step back and adopt big picture strategic decision making. This individual will be a seasoned leader who knows how to navigate challenging situations and drive effectiveness and innovation to grow CMX revenue.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Lead the Media Buying , Inventory Management, and Onsite Performance Opti mization team s providing guidance, coaching & mentorship, acting as a point of contact for escalations.
Serve as the functional point of contact & subject matter expert for social, programmatic, onsite display, and search campaign performance practices .
D evelop and evangelize processes , expectations, best practices, and innovation.
Act as a strategic partner to key internal stakeholders (Sales, Product, Client Solutions, etc.) and C M S Brands and Suppliers to facilitate , manage and prioritize demands that help meet and exceed revenue targets & drive campaign and b rand performance.
Support team members on key accounts to ensure ultimate success and client satisfaction , driving repeat business.
Recruit, train, and develop a results-oriented team .
Act as a key partner to L&D and Sales Enablement to ensure training materials map back to messaging and CMX value proposition.
Develop reporting framework to easily report on campaign performance trends, allowing for data to be actioned upon.
The candidate must be commutable to one of our corporate offices and be willing to work a hybrid schedule. Hybrid model with 3 onsite days/week at one of these locations:
New York Soho area, NY
Blue Bell, PA
8+ years of digital advertising & ad tech experience
6 + years hands-on experience and proficiency in ad op s, programmatic , ad management technologies , and BI tools ( TTD, GAM, Ad Verification, OMS, Tableau , etc. )
4+ years of management experience
Retail media experience is a plus
Strong ability to manage projects, timelines and lead a team of media professionals
Excellent communicator and collaborator; able to work with both technical and non-technical teams.
Experience working with cross-functional teams across all levels including senior management.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Strong ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, and work under pressure to meet deadlines
Excellent communication, presentation, and training skills
Demonstrated pro-active thinking with creative problem-solving skills and maximizing budgets
Thrives in a fast-paced environment with ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting tight deadlines
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (HS Diploma and 4 years of experience) required.
The typical pay range for this role is:
$100,000.00 - $231,500.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
