Staff Assistant, Student Services & Enrollment Management GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide administrative assistance & support to the Vice President of Student Services & Enrollment Management (SSEM) & guidance to SSEM support staff. EXAMPLES OF DUTIES: Provide administrative support to & assist in project management for the Vice President of SSEM & the SSEM division. Work closely with the Associate Vice President of Human Resources, as well as Deans & other \"direct reports\" to the Vice President, in preparing reports & ensuring execution of collective bargaining agreement contractual requirements. Coordinate projects & reports generated by the office, such as medical withdrawals, account appeals, CORI/SORI forms, emergency grant applications, financial aid advances. Ensures timely response & correspondence with requests. Conduct research & prepare reports using the College\'s student information system. Exercise discretion in h&ling confidential information offered by students, faculty, & staff; make referrals to appropriate sources. Maintain confidential files & review material for placement in archives. Schedule various meetings such as staff, division, retention & enrollment management. Keep personnel data current in preparation for re-appointments, change of rank/grade, & performance evaluations for all full-time & part-time unit professional staff, & all non-unit professionals. Prepare appropriate letters for the recommendation of tenure, reappointment, sabbatical & change of grade for professional staff. Work occasional evening & weekend hours as necessary to support division events. Other duties, as assigned. Requirements: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor\'s degree from an accredited higher education institution plus 3 years of successful, progressive, administrative support experience. High level of competence in using Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, Jenzabar (or other similar Student Information System), Zoom, & other communication & data analysis software. Enthusiasm for working effectively with a diverse population of students, administrators, faculty & the public. Experience preparing reports using relational databases. High standard for delivery of exceptional customer service. Experience working within a collective bargaining environment. Ability to work independently & as a team member. Effective time management & organization skills & ability to meet deadlines. Effective interpersonal communication skills Ability to work in a sensitive, confidential environment.
