Senior Accountant

Randstad Professionals has partnered with a manufacturing company to identify a Senior Accountant that will be responsible for full-cycle accounting, as well as, inventory costing and financial reporting.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and record journal entries and manage the month-end close

  • Ensure the accuracy of information through monthly analysis and reconciliation

  • Identify and resolve any issues or reconciling items

  • Track and control inventory

  • Continue to improve on internal controls related to inventory

  • Inventory analysis and reporting

  • Review and analyze daily and weekly inventory adjustments and changes

  • Provides leadership to ensure adequate cost accounting processes are in place, including average costing, physical inventory verification, and cycle counts

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or related field

  • 4-7 years of experience in general accounting

  • A strong understanding of GAAP in relation to inventory and purchasing

  • Experience with an ERP system

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
