West Newton** AR/AP Specialist - Hybrid (3 days in office) - Up to $90k BOE

100% Medical and Dental

Our West Newton based client is a local construction company looking to bring an AR/AP specialist onto their team. The ideal candidate will already be familiar with construction AR and AP, but this client is open to looking at other strong candidates.

Job Description: - AP/AR Clerk is responsible for various duties relating to maintaining accurate and current accounts payable and accounts receivable, including data entry, generating statements and timely communicating with the appropriate individuals or entities regarding charges, payments, Notices and the status of accounts payable and accounts receivable, and related information.

Requirements

Accounts Receivable/Payable Specialist Duties/Responsibilities. (This may not be all inclusive)

a. Maintaining employee records

b. Managing the collection of and reviewing of time sheets

c. Entering time into payroll system, running reports, issuing paychecks, and submitting tax payments electronically

d. Provide information and answering employee questions about payroll matters.

e. Work Closely with Project Managers to prepare and submit monthly billing.

f. Releasing approved A/P invoices for payment and processing checks.

g. Certified payroll reporting

h. Union Reports

i. AP Entries

j. AR Entries
