Bear Mountain Healthcare is looking for a dynamic Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to work in our skilled nursing facility in West Springfield, MA. The purpose of this position is to empower our patients and staff by providing additional education and support to our team through the knowledge, experience, and abilities of a COTA. The COTA will provide hands on assistance and education to staff to ensure optimal patient care and assist the healthcare team to promote the highest quality of life for our patients. Work will include components of direct patient care, assisting with transfers, assisting with ADLs and self-feeding, patient observation, educating staff and administrative duties. This role will encompass working with nursing, rehabilitation, and administrative departments.

Must have an active state license or license eligible and meet the educational requirements as defined in the job description for that license type.
Associate degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant program from an accredited program.
2 years’ experience working in a SNF is preferred
