US One-Design Order Fulfillment/Inventory Control Spec in West Yarmouth, Massachusetts
We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Order Fulfillment/ Inventory Control Specialist to join our team. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of customer orders, manage stock levels, track incoming and outgoing materials and products, monitor reorders, and initiate restock requests according to demand. Job Responsibilities: Organize and prioritize incoming customer orders for processing Accurately pick and pack items from inventory based on customer orders, ensuring product quality and adherence to packaging standards Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory movement, update order statuses, and maintain accurate records Monitors and maintains current inventory levels; processes purchasing orders as required; tracks orders and investigates problems. Records purchases, maintains database, performs physical count of inventory, and reconciles discrepancies in inventories Receives, unpacks, and delivers goods; re-stocks items as necessary Processes and documents returns as required following established procedures. Assist in receiving and inspecting incoming shipments, verifying quantities and quality of products Communicate effectively with other team members to address any issues or discrepancies in the order fulfillment process Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the overall efficiency of the fulfillment operations Work Hours: This is on-site, full-time, year-round position. Skills: Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail knowledge of supplies, equipment, and/or services ordering and inventory control. Ability to reconcile stock counts to report data. Database management skills. Ability to receive, stock, and/or deliver goods. Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and tasks as needed Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent Customer Service/ Order fullfillment experience a plus
