What you’ll do

• A team leader is someone who provides guidance, instruction, direction, and leadership to a group of individuals (the production line team) for the purpose of achieving a key result or group of aligned results.

• Ensure EHS procedures are being followed and concerns/ideas are being escalated

• Optimize production and material flow

• Ensure products are built with high quality and our QMS is being followed

• Check for equipment and process start-up readiness and control

• Escalates production andons/abnormalities in real-time, performs level 1 troubleshooting and problem solving

• Trains and up-skills the production team

• Confirms quality of product & documentation – conducts routine checks, ensures documentation for quality/scrap is captured

• Assists in set-ups and changeovers when necessary (LOTO certified)

• Ensures parts & materials are supplied to the line for the current job, ensures signals are sent correctly, and excess parts are documented appropriately

• May lead shift handover or act as shift lead in the absence of a Group Lead
