Robert Half HR Generalist in Westborough, Massachusetts

Description

We are in search of an HR Generalist for our client in retail operations, located in Westborough, Massachusetts, United States. The role involves a variety of HR-related tasks, with a focus on retail employee recruitment, handling field employee requests, and ensuring compliance with processes such as the I9 process. The successful candidate will be a crucial partner to our field store managers, providing key support to our operational teams.

Responsibilities:

• Managing retail employee recruitment processes, including posting ads, screening applications, and organizing the interview process for field managers

• Responding to field employee requests, which can range from time off queries to general questions

• Utilizing Microsoft Excel for tracking time/attendance and bonus program

• Building strong relationships with field store managers, demonstrating an ability to be a reliable partner

• Ensuring compliance with various processes, including but not limited to the I9 process

• Using Indeed recruitment and onboarding software effectively to streamline HR processes

• Engaging in Employee Relations activities, helping to maintain a positive and productive work environment

• Implementing Recruitment - Sourcing strategies to attract the best talent

• Conducting and organizing Interviews as part of the recruitment process to assess candidate suitability

• Ensuring all HR practices adhere to relevant Compliance regulations

Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience working as an HR Generalist, preferably in the Oil & Gas - Explor & Prod industry.

• Demonstrated expertise in Employee Relations.

• Proven experience in Recruitment - Sourcing.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must.

• Experience in Conducting Interviews.

• Familiarity with Compliance in the HR context.

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proven ability to handle confidential information.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
