Westborough Behavioral Healthcare Hospital Human Resource Specialist- Part time 24hrs/week in Westborough, Massachusetts
Part time @ 24 hrs/wk and 8 hrs per day for 3 days/wk. This is an entry level role
The HR Specialist assists the HR Generalist and Chief People Officer with many administrative tasks including completing all pre-employment background checks clearing new hires for orientation. Assist in receiving and screening calls, answering general human resources related questions. Coordinate the tracking documentation for pre-employment TB, licenses, other record keeping as necessary.
Requirements
1-2 years of HR experience required. High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred. Experience in Behavioral Healthcare setting preferred. Basic knowledge of personnel management, employment and recruitment techniques, and laws relating thereto required. Familiarly with UKG payroll or other payroll programs required. Ability to exercise appropriate judgment in answering questions and releasing information; analyze and project consequences of decisions and/or recommendations. Ability to handle confidential information with great sensitivity.Technical, critical thinking and interpersonal skills relevant to Human Resources to effectively communicate with applicants, employees, team members, department managers/directors and administration.
