Summary of position:

The Engineering Manager oversees all engineering activities and manages a team that supports all areas of OUS’s core business. This includes engineering work required to execute projects, technical support for all new and existing projects. The Engineering Manager is responsible for supporting the sales efforts for all services and products while functioning as the technical expert for Make Ready Engineering, pole loading and forecasting revenue.

This position is located in Westborough, Massachusetts.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, train, and develop the engineering team to support all aspects of Osmoses Technical Services.

  • Coordinate with engineering, field collection, and project management teams regarding upcoming projects, schedule, and priorities.

  • Participate in project related internal communications including status reports, conference calls, and staff meetings.

  • Track and report on processing schedule and forecast for multiple projects.

  • Coordinate and participate in the creation, maintenance, and improvements of training materials for data processing procedures.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Civil or Electrical Engineering preferred.

  • Minimum 5 years of progressive industry experience required.

  • Minimum 4 years of supervisory experience required.

  • Professional engineering license or ability to obtain one in a reasonable timeframe is preferred. NCEES record is preferred.

  • Background and present responsibilities must substantiate leadership and self-motivational qualities.

  • Willingness to travel overnight and work varied hours, when necessary, to achieve desired results.
