Part Time Accounts Payable position! Great opportunity to work for a reputable company as they grow!

This Part Time Accounts Payable position will be Tuesday - Thursday in office in Westborough. Prior Accounts Payable experience is a must. Responsibilities include matching, batching and coding invoices, resolving A/P issues, processing expense reports, updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L, and processing checks. Major responsibilities

• Maintain proper storage of invoices, checks, and other documents by organizing, logging, scanning, and filing them

• Execute additional tasks as needed

• Handle the administrative needs of the AP/Finance Department

• Perform daily processes and controls correctly and punctually, ensuring company policies are followed

• Manage department mail by opening, sorting, and distributing it on a daily basis

• Facilitate internal and external audits as needed

• Fullfill full-cycle A/P

• Manage the process of verifying, logging, and mailing checks, including expediting special handling

• Assist internal business partners with any customer services needs

  Requirements - Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Excel Formulas experience

• Comprehensive knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP)

• AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are a must

• Ability to work within spreadsheets and databases

• Prior experience in an A/P role preferred

• Demonstrated communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds
