What you’ll do:
Support the product release function at 350 employee facility that manufactures single use filtration devices and cell bags used by the pharmaceutical Industry.
Supervise a team of 7-10 product release specialists over a 2 shift manufacturing operation.
Responsible for performance of the team and for identifying opportunities for process improvement.
Ensure the product release team complies with all product release work instructions and procedures.
Ensure new employees are adequately trained and qualified.
Coordinate the activities of the team to ensure production and shipping goals are met.
Learn all product release activities and perform product release as required to support surges in manufacturing releases.
Hold daily, weekly, and monthly team meetings. Provide a structure of daily management to the team.
Support CAPAs and Continuous Improvement Projects related to product release.
Support customer visits and site audits as Subject Matter Expert from a product release perspective.
Supports and participates in the QMS Internal Audit program and External Audits
Identifies and reports any EHS, Quality or Compliance concerns and takes immediate corrective action or escalation as required
Aware of and complies with the company Quality Management System, Quality Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position
Who you are:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
3-5 years’ experience in quality or product release or equivalent.
1 year regulated industry experience (e.g. GMP, medical device, pharmaceutical) required;
Experience with cGMP and/or ISO 13485 preferred
1 year experience in a leadership position.
A data driven positive leadership style that provides praise, recognition, and can identifying opportunities for improved employee performance.
Demonstrated experience prioritizing conflicting demands in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated time management skills
Proficient with Microsoft tools; Word, Excel, Power Point, Project and Visio
