Primary Purpose

The Senior Specialist Accounts Payable is responsible for processing and analyzing all transactions as it

relates to Account Payable functions.

Essential Functions

  • Troubleshoot any invoices/purchase orders that are incomplete or have issues. Take action to resolve as appropriate and escalate any major issues as needed

  • Review vendor statements to ensure past due invoices are researched and resolved in a timely manner

  • Input invoices with accuracy and in a timely manner consistent with a high--volume department. Organize work to meet the deadlines of payment schedules and monthly and year-end closings

  • Ensures transactions are timely and accurate, and that expenses are accurately coded and allocated.

  • Handle vendor calls & emails. Provide timely responses to all AP inquiries. Maintain a positive relationship with all vendors

  • Responds to inquiries from vendors or employees and research and resolve concerns or discrepancies. Assists in year-end or monthly/quarterly accounting procedures.

  • Ensures work is completed, accurately, and compliant with accounting regulations and company policies and procedures.

  • Assists in the documentation of accounting procedures.

Salary Range

$18.00 – $36.00 / hour

At United Site Services, our salary ranges reflect the minimum and maximum base pay for the posted position applicable to all locations across the US. Within the posted salary range, individual pay is determined by the geographic location, job related skills, experience, education, and certifications. Our total compensation package includes base pay plus a comprehensive benefits program.
