Manufacturing Science & Technology (MS&T) is a small group consisted of scientists with diverse background. MS&T provides a collaborative environment and opportunities for technical, analytical and communication skills development/improvement and nourishes critical thinking capability.

MS&T has several projects going-on, depending on previous experience and knowledge as well as interests, the intern will be working mainly on one program. He/she will initially play a supporting role and eventually proceed to lead a small project. The intern is expected to learn and maintain cell cultures in the lab, to keep good recording of experiments and summarize data and present results regularly in group meetings.

MS&T works mainly on three projects which are 1) in vitro hiPSC differentiating into blood NK cells, 2) hESC differentiating into RPE (Retinal Pigment Epithelium) cells, 3) hESC differentiating into human Mesenchymal cells. The intern may work in 1-2 of the projects and focus on 1) cell culture process optimization; 2) new technology evaluation such as use of AI in drug production process.


  • Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in life sciences with a minimum GPA of 3.3

  • Must have an interest in pursuing a career in Life Sciences/Biotech/Pharmaceuticals

  • Ability to manage workload effectively including planning, organizing, prioritizing, and meeting deadlines
