LEAD CARPENTER/PROJECT COORDINATOR NEEDED FULL-TIME (40hrs) with OT if desired! We offer competitive wages RESIDENTIAL and COMMERCIAL PROJECTS We are currently seeking a Lead Carpenter/Project Coordinator who is knowledgeable in the carpentry and/or construction industry to join our crew. This position is primarily responsible for the on-site management of our building projects. In addition to performing carpentry labor, full coordination of all job specs, plans, change orders as well as management of subcontractors hired by the Company is required. The Lead Carpenter/Project Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the timely and costly completion of our projects by overseeing all phases of the project. This entails working with a variety of stakeholders to schedule and plan work, coordinate equipment and materials, operate within budget, and monitor overall progress. Lead Carpenters/Project Coordinators are often times at the construction site for much of the work week. LEAD CARPENTER/PROJECT COORDINATOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES - Perform carpentry labor on-site as well as manage team and subcontracted labor, ensuring high quality performance and general supervision/communication amongst all - Ability to effectively organize, plan, analyze production schedules as well as manage/communicate delays impacting production schedule - Daily intensive phone/email/text communications with team, clients, subcontractors and other stakeholders to ensure the highest customer service experience and delivery of commitments in a timely, professional manner - Work with assistants and oversee progress of all submittals, RFIs, executed contracts and PO's and all other project documentation - Take measurements and calculate the sizes and amounts of materials needed for the project - Ensure all job material receipts are submitted for the accounting of all jobs assigned - Confirm accuracy of subcontractor invoices - Comply with all company and governmental safety guidelines LEAD CARPENTER/PROJECT COORDINATOR REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS - Relative work experience (7 years minimum) OR - Professional managerial experience (2 years minimum) AND - Carpentry experience (5 years minimum) - Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches and to understand project specifications - Strong working knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods, including installation and construction - Inspect products and conduct repairs or maintenance as needed - Construction/Engineering related degree preferred - Excellent time & financial management skills
