While all drivers are hired for and consistently work a primary account, to maintain our service standards, there are occasions we request members of the Dedicated team provide temporary assistance at other accounts during surge periods.

A. Duie Pyle, Inc. is looking for a Dedicated Account Manager in Westfield, MA!

This position will be responsible for the overall account management for the dedicated customer and also the ability to drive when needed.

  • Start up and fluid scheduling for a fast paced customer

  • On call for driver and customer needs

  • Dynamic routing using our routing software (must be comfortable learning this system)

  • Daytime and heavy city focus

  • Optimize schedule daily

  • On site with customer – positive and concise Interaction and communication a must

  • Candidate will deal with all aspects of customers business – work with sales and customer service to schedule Deliveries

  • Previous transportation management experience in a dedicated environment preferred

  • Experience with load planning and driver management

  • Must possess good organizational skills

  • Must possess a solid customer service background

  • Proficiency with computers, including MS Office

  • Ability to be on-call during driver work hours

  • Understanding and knowledge of DOT regulations

  • Effective communication and customer service skills with the ability to represent the Company in a positive, professional manner

  • TMW and People Net knowledge a plus

  • P+L responsibility
