As a valuable member of our accounting team, you will support our strong and dedicated finance group working with all areas and functionalities. You will sit in our Westfield, Massachusetts office and will work in a hybrid office/remote model, including flex-time summer Fridays. Our Accounting Team We have a group who work together to execute essential business accounting functions that are crucial to the success of our company. From financial reporting and analysis, to budgeting and payroll, our team delivers financial expertise and outstanding customer service throughout all their responsibilities to our clients and employees. What will you be doing? You will be preparing draft and final invoice packages, corresponding with clients, reconciling variances, and generating receivable reports. You will work closely with a Project Accountant (PA) to ensure accurate client billings. You may also communicate with Project Managers (PM) and Project Directors (PD), responding to requests for project information and any additional services-related to billing. Some of your projects may include preparing special projects analyses, providing year-end support of auditor requirements as well as writing off any uncollectible receivables, labor, or expenses. What do you need? You will need to be proficient in MS Excel, familiarity with MS Access databases, and have outstanding organizational skills, strong attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Internship and/or 2 years of finance/accounting experience is preferred. Knowledge of A/E Software or other accounting platforms would be a plus. An AS in finance/accounting or another related field is preferred. The salaries are determined based on internal equity and market analysis and will vary based on the candidate?s skill and experience; the salary range for this position is \$36,000 - \$48,000.
