Commercial Loan Administrator Department: Commercial Lending Job Status: Full-Time FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Grade: 8 Reports to: SVP/Team Leader Small Business Amount of Travel Required: Some Travel to various locations. Positions Supervised: N/A POSITION SUMMARY Maintains and manages current portfolio of loans. Develops sound commercial loans within the Bank\'s geographic area by working with assigned branch staff and processing and closing approved loan requests through the b2b Platform. Position requires follow up on any material changes to assigned borrowers. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Manages current portfolio of loans by exception. Works with assigned branches to generate new commercial loan opportunities. Interviews customers and prospects requesting commercial loans. Acquires and analyzes financial statements. Prepares, processes and submits term sheets for b2b requests to the SVP/Team Leader and underwriter. Analyzes small business loan applications with attention paid to cash flow and collateral analysis, borrower\'s character and management ability and credit score as well as the business operating conditions and industry. Reviews loan documents and represents the bank at loan closings as necessary. Analyzes credit risk and assigns appropriate risk ratings. Follows up on all bank reports for missing customer information. Analyzes stale Lines of Credit and assess risk based on account status. Records and follows up on all customer and prospect interactions in Call trax. Participates in the business community by being active in various organizations. Understands other bank products and services and assists in the cross-selling to customers. Knowledge of the bank?s loan products and matches the loan product need to the customer request. Must complete BSA, AML and other Regulatory and Continuing Education as assigned. Must adhere to all bank regulatory policies and procedures specific to the position including but not limited to the Small Business Lending Policy. Perform additional duties as assigned. Ability to sell and market the bank to businesses and individuals. Ability to interact with others. Ability to analyze financial statements. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) required. Knowledge of various types of financing facilities including SBA, CDC financing. Knowledge and understanding of various types of industries and economic conditions which may impact them.
