Westfield Electroplating Company Sandblast Operator (3rd Shift) in Westfield, Massachusetts

Westfield Electroplating Company is seeking a Sandblast Operator to support the day-to-day 2nd, and 3rd shift sandblasting duties within our Production Department. This job requires the manual operation of our sandblasting equipment/cabinets, loading customer parts, quality control to meet customer order specifications. The successful candidate must demonstrate attention to detail, good time management skills, work independently without supervision, and possess good oral and written communication skills. This candidate must have the ability to work in a collaborative team environment with management and production staff. Skills/ Requirements Must be able to stand for long periods of time. Must be able to work in a noisy environment. Must manually operate nozzle through glove fitted cabinets. Must examine parts to ensure the removal of adhering scale, paint, rust, oxides and any other surface imperfections to order specification. 1-3 years of sandblasting experience is a plus. Pay Rate and Benefits: Depend on experience.
