DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Maintain Massachusetts Journeyman’s electrician’s license.

  2. Perform Preventive and Corrective Maintenance on electrical and related equipment.

  3. Complete work orders, installations and projects as assigned.

  4. Assist Millwrights/Mechanics with mechanical Preventive and Corrective Maintenance.

  5. Calibrate, repair, and keep in good working order the instrumentation equipment.

  6. Assist with maintenance of the spare parts inventory.

  7. Participate in the day-to-day compliance with Food Safety, 5S and Pre-requisite programs.

  8. Maintain a clean work area.

  9. Utilize computer for communication, calibrations records and work order details.

  10. Troubleshooting PLC program logic and industrial motor drive systems.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Climbing Stairs, Bending, Twisting, Reaching, Pushing, Pulling and Squatting. Walking or standing on concrete floors for most of shift. Climbing Ladders and Working on High lift. Lifting is minimal, occasionally up to 40 lbs. Exposure to coatings and solvents. Shift formats vary (8 hours, 12 hours, nights, days). Good and reliable attendance.

Compensation starts at $32/ hour and is dependent on experience and training.

Required

  • Current Massachusetts Journeyman Electrician’s License.

  • Prior positions working with similar equipment and similar environment

Preferred

  • Industrial electrical experience with web-based machines recommended. Able to work independently and/or as part of a team, effectively communicate, get along with others, positive attitude and be well organized. Have basic computer knowledge. PLC ladder logic programming and or Drive systems a plus
