The Red Hat North America (NA) People (HR) team is looking for an Associate HR Manager to join our growing Delivery team in Westford, MA. Red Hat office location is ideal, but the role is also open to any remote U.S. locations in general. In this role, you will report to the NA people delivery manager and partner with several Engineering teams within the Products and Technologies (PnT) team, aligning our HR strategy and programs with their business needs. You will have the opportunity to actively consult with leaders and associates within the Linux Engineering and Service Delivery teams with a focus on performance and development, leadership development, goal planning and alignment, diversity and inclusion, change management and communication, total rewards and recognition, and engagement and retention strategies. As an Associate HR Manager, you will work according to the priorities of the talent strategy set by your customer management teams and collaborate with our global People team centers of excellence (CoEs). Successful applicants must reside in a state where Red Hat is registered to do business.
Primary job responsibilities
Identify, integrate, and deliver effective HR services around performance and development, leadership development, goal planning and alignment, diversity and inclusion total rewards strategy, and engagement and retention initiatives
Connect effective people team solutions to the key talent challenges the business is trying to solve
Message the value and business impact of HR programs to leader and associate populations
Consult and coach customers around our total rewards and talent management philosophies and their application to guide quality decisions
Build solid relationships with CoE partners to most effectively consult around executing key programs within the business
Augment day-to-day generalist support of several customer groups
Use internal tools and other information sources to identify business trends and ensure that appropriate CoE solutions are in place to support
5-8 years of previous experience directly supporting engineering organizations as an HR generalist or in a CoE, business process, or HR support function capacity
