Chelmsford Operations is seeking a Finance & Business Operations (F&BO) team member, with a solid background in program finance or operations finance, and experience applying earned value measurement (EVMS) principles.
What You Will Be Doing
The successful candidate will be joining a high-performing, cross-functional F&BO team, supporting our cutting-edge Radio Frequency (RF) design, test, and assembly facility.
We support both Integrated Air & Missile Defense (IAMD) and Air Dominance & Strike Weapons (ADSW) lines of business (LOB), with internal program and functional cost reporting responsibilities, as well as full external program finance responsibilities for our PAC-3 Exciter and NAVSUP programs.
Working at a "small site" ( 450 employees) offers great opportunities for cross-training and rotations through multiple F&BO disciplines within the same team, in an exciting, fast-paced manufacturing environment, with a family feel.
F&BO team members are closely integrated with program and functional teams.
This role will primarily be lead cost analyst for multiple contracts, responsible for independently performing cost and schedule analysis and reporting, with an opportunity for team leader role assignments. Responsibilities will include: developing and analyzing performance and variance reports; organizing, analyzing and reporting cost data; developing, analyzing, and reporting earned value measurement (EVM) data; entering data into Missile and Fire Control's (MFC) Electronic Financial System (EFS); developing program estimate-to-complete (ETC) inputs and baseline budgets; processing Schedule/Budget Change Requests (SBCRs); helping develop estimating inputs and basis of estimate (BOE) write-ups. The role will also require active engagement in the MFC 1LMX transition, for our January 2026 cut-over.
Successful candidate must be able to work as part of a team, and will be responsible for ensuring compliance with Lockheed Martin policies and procedures, as well as Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR) and contract requirements.
Day-to-day tasks will include delivering accurate, timely reports, gathering, organizing & analyzing data, developing presentations, and collaborating with other team members across various functions, sites and programs.
This position will be located in the lease office space at 10 Technology Road, Westford, Mass., about 2 miles from the Chelmsford facility
For a level 4, we typically require 10 years of professional experience; or 8 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - Must be able to obtain an interim secret clearance prior to start.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree, with major in accounting, finance, business, economics, industrial engineering, cost management or similar related discipline.
Ability to obtain secret security clearance.
Minimum of four years experience in cost accounting, accounting, business operations, cost estimating, pricing, contracts or program finance.
Minimum of two years experience performing earned value measurement systems (EVMS) tasks on government contracts, including developing time-phased labor or materials estimates for program Estimate-at-Completes (EACs), completing contract schedule budget change requests (SBCRs), analyzing cost/schedule/at-completion variances (SV/CV/VAC), analyzing rate variances, assessing budgeted cost of work performed (BCWP), ensuring cost & schedule integration with internal operating plans (IOPs) or integrated master schedules (IMSs), or analyzing cost/schedule/to-go performance indices (CPI/SPI/TCPI).
Advanced-level proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including creating Pivot Tables and graphs from complex data, and using VLOOKUP, IFSUM and similar features.
Experience using Microsoft PowerPoint to develop presentations, and Microsoft Word to write clearly and effectively, using correct grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
Desired Skills:
1) Excellent verbal and written communication skills; 2) experience gathering & organizing data; 3) advanced data analysis skills, especially for cost, schedule, rate, and usage variances; 4) experience using labor standards; 5) experience developing, reporting and analyzing hour-per-unit (HPU) metrics; 6) experience developing labor or materials cost estimates; 7) manufacturing cost accounting experience; 8) DFARS financial reporting requirements; 9) experience using Missile and Fire Control (MFC) Electronic Financial System (EFS); 10) experience with data visualization tools, like Tableau or Excel BI; 11) team leader experience.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
