The Information and Intelligence group is seeking a Principal Engineer with a background in remote sensing imaging systems. In this position, you would contribute to the development and support of long-range, high-altitude reconnaissance sensors. The candidate should have strong mathematical and problems solving skills. They should understand image processing and what drives good image quality. knowledge of geo- positioning and sensor models is a plus. Experience with high altitude or space-based reconnaissance systems is a plus. Primary Responsibilities:

• Lead technical projects

• Contribute and lead technical exchanges with internal and external customers

• Prototype algorithms

• Analyze and model imaging systems.

• Collaborate on multi-disciplinary teams to devise leading edge solutions

• Write and encourage robust, maintainable documentation

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (typically in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)) and a minimum of 8years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations

• Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience OR

• In absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience is required

• Must be a U.S. Citizen

• Must have or be capable of obtaining a US Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance. Candidate selected will be subject to a government security investigation/reinstatement and must meet eligibility requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with either high altitude airborne or satellite ISR sensors

• Active or recent clearance preferred

• Strong mathematical background with emphasis in one or more of the following: Statistics, Linear Systems, Fourier Analysis

• Design, documentation and Product Development Life Cycle experience

• Experience with prototype algorithm development and languages such as Matlab, Python, or IDL
