Role OverviewThis position leads large team of experienced Financial Planning and Analysis professionals or team leaders, overseeing financial analysis, research, and forecasts to support short and long-term business goals and decisions. Develops financial processes and systems in support of financial strategy. Provides consultation and guidance to functional or operational management on key financial issues and decisions.

Functional Overview

We are currently seeking a Senior Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis in our Westford office. The successful candidate will support the consolidation and reporting of the financials for the Airborne Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance and Defense portfolio within ISR&S. Candidate will have the opportunity to interact with all levels of the organization including the senior leadership team.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the consolidation of financial actual results and forecasts for multiple sites. Coordinate reporting and metrics, monitoring performance to targets. Present results to senior management.

  • Monitor results during monthly closing and forecasting cycles.

  • Support the annual plan and strategic plan cycles to include consolidation of inputs, analysis and presentations

  • Manage team members within FP&A

  • Develop and maintain consistent reports and drive process improvements within function

  • Interface with the ISR&S FP&A team by providing timely and accurate financial data

  • Assist with monthly Financial Assessments, Flash, and Operational Analysis updates by coordinating site results and analyzing variances from prior submissions

  • Oversee FP&A monthly and quarterly deliverable schedule. Understand deliverables and provide guidance to sites as needed.

  • Ad hoc analysis, tracking, measuring, reporting based on the needs of the ISR&S organization

  • Special projects as required

Experience/Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree in Finance, Business or related field of study

  • MBA, CPA or CMA a plus

  • 10 years of related experience

  • Required skills / competancies

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills

  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management

  • Skills in managing multiple and varied tasks

  • Ability to perform well under pressure and meet deadlines

  • Skills in management presentation and PowerPoint

  • Successfully manage and develop employees

  • Preferred skills

  • Hyperion Financial Management (HFM)

  • Hyperion Planning

  • SAP

  • Microsoft Office (specifically Excel & PowerPoint)
