Eversource is seeking a Communications specialist to support the Information Technology organization on the Collaboration and Productivity team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and creating communications from the IT department. You will also manage and compile presentations for Leadership and All-Hands meetings, ensuring that a clear and concise message is conveyed.

Eversource is seeking a Communications specialist to support the Information Technology organization on the Collaboration and Productivity team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and creating communications from the IT department. You will also manage and compile presentations for Leadership and All-Hands meetings, ensuring that a clear and concise message is conveyed.

This role will use tools such as (but not limited to) Office365, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, and PowerBI. These solutions support the work being done across the entire IT organization and need to do so in an efficient and impactful manner.

This role will effectively communicate all aspects of the projects and systems worked on. This includes project announcements, milestones and deliveries, planned maintenance, and training. You will also engage in exercises to improve employee experience by improving collaboration and engagement.

Essential Functions:

  • Responsible for developing communications standards and processes to ensure consistent, reliable information is produced.
  • Developing communications designed to keep employees informed of important news, updates, and initiatives
  • Responsible for effectively communicating all aspects of IT projects, operations, and strategy.
  • Understands how to use technology, and how to teach it to others.
  • Understands how to create and assemble presentations from multiple sources, creating a consistent theme and message.
  • Able to coordinate meetings of any size, including technical setup and other arrangements.
  • Responsible for reviewing communications articles and training prior to release.
  • Able to engage others in meaningful conversation and activities, driving positive employee experience.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.Advanced degree is a plus

Experience:

  • Zero to three years in a Communications role
  • Zero to three years of related experience working with technology or application solutions, including experience in technical writing
