Citizens Finance Sr Manager in Westwood, Massachusetts

This position is responsible for providing financial support of the Citizens Pay business unit. Citizens Pay is a high-growth “FinTech in a bank” organization that helps provide Point-of-Sale financing to a fast-growing portfolio of partners, including Microsoft and Apple! This role offers the opportunity to be a part of a small, high impact team that is constantly redesigning processes and helping to drive positive business outcomes through partnership with key leaders, supporting an area of strategic importance for the firm. The successful candidate will work with various business and support teams within the organization to ensure the integrity of the financial forecast within CFG’s CFO framework and will be encouraged to seek out ways to transform the way the finance team supports the business as it matures.


  • Finance support of the Citizens Pay Business with specific focus on forecasting expenses and P&L across multiple portfolios, KPI reporting, and contract negotiation support.

  • Provide Finance representation for enterprise strategic efforts.

  • Provide ad-hoc support and fulfill reporting obligations to satisfy needs for business partners and Finance management.

  • Lead the Monthly Close process across multiple portfolios, ensuring management has insight into the financial outlook across all vendor relationships.

  • Ensure each portfolio has an up-to-date understanding of expense & unit costs, and drive coordination with the pricing and platform teams

  • Clearly demonstrate forward-looking expectations in the context of historical performance.

    Required Skills/Experience:

  • 5 – 7 years of experience in FP&A or a related field (Essbase / Smartview preferred)

  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with an ability to translate sophisticated analyses into clear and digestible insights

  • Solid understanding of financial statement analysis and forecasting models

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint and Word), with a particular focus on financial modeling

  • Flexibility to work on a variety of projects and meet extremely tight deadlines.

  • Self-thinker and self-motivated; must be able to work through issues and raise only when appropriate

  • Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business required

  • Experience with vendor contracts and invoicing a plus

    Hours and Work Schedule

    Hours per week: 40

    Work Schedule: 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday - Friday
