VICE-PRESIDENT OF SALES

This crucial role reports directly to the CEO and CRO/CMO, playing a key part in leading the next phase of our expanding sales organization. You will be instrumental in driving company awareness and accelerating sales growth. JOB SUMMARY:

The Vice-President of Sales will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive sales strategies to ensure optimal market coverage and drive consistent year-over-year growth. This high-level position requires a strategic leader with a proven track record of building and leading successful sales teams, deep knowledge of enterprise and government markets, and the ability to close large, complex deals.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and implement sales strategies and approaches aligned with company goals and objectives to maximize market coverage and revenue growth tailored to target verticals.

  • Collaborate with senior/C-suite leadership to define strategic direction and identify new business opportunities.

    Sales Team Management

  • Recruit, train, mentor, and lead a high-performing sales team.

  • Set performance goals, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance reviews to ensure team success.

  • Allocate resources, define and manage territories, to maximize sales team performance.

    Channel Strategy and Collaboration

  • Determine the optimal mix of direct and indirect sales channels by vertical and geography.

  • Foster strong collaboration with product experts, customer service, and marketing teams to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.

    Market Penetration and Expansion

  • Implement strategies to increase market share in existing territories and expand into new markets or segments.

  • Stay abreast of market trends, competitive landscape, and industry developments to inform sales strategies.

    Key Account Management and Growth

  • Identify and prioritize key accounts requiring focused attention.

  • Develop specific strategies for engaging and growing these accounts, ensuring long-term success and loyalty.

    Sales Operations and Effectiveness

  • Oversee daily sales operations, ensuring the team meets or exceeds sales targets and KPIs.

  • Utilize CRM systems and data analytics to track customer interactions, sales activities, and performance metrics.

    Financial Management

  • Develop and manage the sales budget, ensuring cost-effective resource allocation.

  • Develop accurate sales forecasts to guide executive management decision making.

    Reporting and Insights

  • Provide regular sales performance reports and insights to senior management.

  • Use data analytics to drive sales strategies and improve team performance.

    Compliance and Reporting

  • Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.

  • Stay informed about changes in regulations affecting enterprise and government sales.

     

    REQUIREMENTS:

  • 10+ Years executive experience as a Director/Vice-President of Sales or similar senior sales leadership

  • Deep knowledge of enterprise and government markets, including procurement and purchasing processes (GSA & Other Govt Contracts).

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

  • Demonstrated success in building and leading high-performing sales teams.

  • Proven track record of closing large, complex sales deals with state, federal, and commercial enterprise customers.

  • Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in CRM systems, sales platforms, and data analytics tools.

  • Security industry experience with HaaS & SaaS background
