Primary Function: Develops sourcing strategies and related action plans while implementing best practices to support the driver staffing needs of the organization. Works with our Recruitment Advertising Agency to advise and execute recruitment media plans and partners with operations to communicate and align on the strategy and goals. This candidate will be responsible for building a strong talent pipeline for our company’s current and future driver staffing needs. Our ideal candidate will set high standards for change around process and behaviors relating to driver recruitment for the respective Area. The role reports to the Manager, Driver Staffing and will support our East Area of Operations.

This role will operate in a dynamic environment with a rapidly changing workforce through a combination of progressive strategic thinking and tactical “roll-up-your-sleeves” contributions. The post-holder will need to keep up to date with broader trends in the labor market. The role will oversee activities based in the U.S. and may require some travel in the U.S.


  • Responsible for procuring candidate pipeline for respective Areas

  • Use recruitment media metrics and analytics to create strategy to drive candidate pipelines; Provide input into the development, implementation, and maintenance of recruiting strategies, processes, policies, and tools to attract candidates

  • Liaise with GMs and RMs to have constant sight into staffing needs

  • Participate in focus location Driver Staffing calls and other CSC staffing calls as required

  • Work directly with recruitment vendors to ensure advertising is providing appropriate ROI

  • Use recruitment metrics and analytics; reports on data as necessary

  • Support and execute recruitment branding strategy on job boards and social media

  • Train CSC Recruiters as needed

  • Actively support and promote continuous improvement and best practices within the recruiting function

  • Understand and utilize internal Driver Staffing reporting tools to ensure respective locations are receiving and processing candidates appropriately; analyze data to provide feedback to hiring managers and strategize with media vendor


  • Position Requirements Include:

  • 2 years of recruiting experience required with 2 or more years of experience in high volume recruiting preferred

  • College coursework required; college degree preferred

  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with staff, leaders, and senior management across the organization

  • Strong strategic and analytical capabilities to proactively anticipate and resolve issues and manage new initiatives

  • Experience creating recruiting strategies and processes preferred

  • Experience creating reports and analyzing recruiting statistics

  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written

  • Ability to work autonomously in a consistently fast-paced, challenging environment

  • Well-developed multi-tasking, time management, and organization skills

  • Strong attention to detail
